Solution

Potassium fluoride is highly soluble in water therefore, it completely dissociates.

KF(s) ———>K+ aq) + F-(aq)

Fluorine ion reacts with water to for Hydrofluoric acid.

F- (aq) + H2O (l) —>HF(l) + OH-(aq)

Here, K+ ions are spectator ions.

 Thus the net ionic equation is

F- (aq) + H2O (l) <—>HF(l) + OH-(aq)

 the solution is basic and has a pH of about 8.3
